I just bought an old (86) u.s.a guitar, and am wondering if the neck of these older guitars should be oiled?

I know the old saying that the value of an opinion is generally inversely proportional to the strength with which it is held. -
Assuming its a Jackson with a bolt on neck - yes, it should be oiled. You probably don't need to oil it, but its up to you as a player.-------------------------
