So my next guitar i'm thinking on just having a kill switch wired up. No volume or tone pots. I'm new to kill switches and was curious if this could happen. If it can, does anybody know how it'd be wired?

Its possible, And you would solder your grounds from the P/U to the ground of the O/P jack and the hot from the P/U to one side of the switch and then a wire from the other side of the switch to the positive of the O/P jack.HTTP 404 - Signature Not Found

You can get some interesting effects with it but I think what you are looking for is a toggle switch.
