SD Hot Rails in neck position will make you sound totally like Dave Murray.
I have it in my charvel and i was surprised how murrayish I sounded. I also have the marshall jmp1, that I think it's what Murray uses.

I don't think Adrian uses the neck pickup much at all...

As somebody else already said, THE Maiden neck pickup sound belongs to Murray. For his modern tone, use a Hot Rails, since it is what he actually uses. For his old tone, perhaps something a bit more vintage sounding. The Duncan Little '59 might be good for instance if you want to emulate a PAF sound, or the Dimarzio Pro Track, as both are supposed to emulate PAFs sound wise.

It kinda depends on the guitar. The DiMarzio PAF will get you Dave's tone pretty much exactly in any 22 fret guitar. I know this for a fact, I put them in all my 22 fret guitars, and it works every time.
But I have a Hot Rails in my SL3 and the fact it's a 24 fret guitar does make a difference. It sounds good, but certainly not like Dave. I'm actually pretty convinced you CAN'T get Dave's neck tone in a 24 fret guitar. I've given up even trying. The best neck tone I've got in a 24 fret guitar after trying all sorts of Duncans and DiMarzios is in my JDR-94 and it now has a Ibanez INF neck model in it (5 or 6 I think, can't recall from memory). But it sounds NOTHING like Dave, it's more like Vai or someone like that.
