Anybody know the thread size on Pro Mod truss rods? Hoping it's 10/32. Any thing I should know before removing the nut to replace with another style (Ala Demartini snakeskin model). Thanks for any help.

Changed my question..not looking to replace the truss rod, just the nut with the barrel type. Found them at StewMac and I have already Dremeled the body portion to access the nut with a 90 degree screwdriver. Just needed to know the thread size and if there is anything else I need to be aware of before I unscrew the nut. This is my mutt 2008 San Dimas with non-matching serial numbers, wanted to try it on her before considering it on the stock one. I still have to nearly remove the front pickup to adjust it. I have a couple Peavey Wolfgangs that are stock that way and it's pretty convenient. Not a hard mod, just don't want to order the nut and find out the thread size is incorrect.My hair is on fire!!!!!My hair is on fire!!!!!!
