OK I am swamping necks from ltd a jackson DKMGq that has a korean floyd onto a jackson DKMG body and a dk2 neck onto the dkmgq. because of hardware color differences I am swapping the nuts but have run into a problem. the nut that came on the guitar with the korean floyd has nut that makes the strings sit higher(BR3) the other 2 nuts are both bh.43. what is happening is one, the strings are really high at the 1st fret and the other frets out on the first frets.
So I have 2 solutions that I can think of buy new nuts to match hardware(don't know where to get a gold nh.43 nut), a black floyd nut should be easy but expensive. or just have the guitars have the different color hardware(one I'm going to sell
)
Any suggestions?
