They aren't made to be removable, they are likely pressed into place on a hydraulic press. You could possibly press it out but you'd have to press in a slightly larger one in order for it to fit in solid. Or you could buy an OFR and drop it on with far less difficulty...GTWGITS! - RacerX -

Some people have been able to resharpen the knife edges carefully with a dremel tool without removing them.Comment

I don't think they are removable, I think the pot metal base plate is cast around the inserts.METAL, LIVE IT!Comment
