What type of Floyd did I just buy?

I think its a copy for a non recessed body, I'll look at mine now got some gen floyds.

I have a Takuchi non recessed in a BC Rich ST-III. I'm hoping this is an upgrade...

Can't say I've seen an FR with that type of base plate. I can't see the block in the listing. Is the block on your Takeuchi painted black? The ones that I have are painted and I think they are brass.

I think it might be. It's got a large block (wide and thin). It's an old one from the late 80s.

Takeuchi trems are respected so I would not swap one out. Hopefully the new trem has a brass block.

It's not a Special...they actually say Special on them. It may be a Ping.

Yeah...and after thinking some more, the Pings have the Ping logo engraved near the arm, which this doesn't have. No clue on this one. :dunno:

I can't see anyone going to the trouble of faking an OFR only to sell them for $35!!

its not an OFR or a png I can tell you that much. I have never seen a baseplate shaped like that that says Floyd Rose on it.
