How rare is a gold 23xx Kahler?

I have a black 86 Model 4 with all black hardware and it looks a little boring. How hard would it be to track down a gold 2300 series?

Has anyone tried the 7300 Hybrid and does it drop in? Is it a crappier replacement?

you can buy 2300's new in gold, somewhat expensive though

7300 is the same size and shape, so yeah it will fit, the way i understand it, the 2300's are hand made in USA, where as the hybrids are made on a production line in the USA, still a quality trem, if you like Kahler's
