Converting Combo to Head?

Just wondering if anybody has done this before, could they give me any pointers and where I can get certain materials like tolex and the front grill or mesh stuff on the front of the amp, I've seen somebody on another forum that wanted to use red snakeskin on a bugera 6262.

Some of my ideas for the appearance (feel free to suggest your own ideas as well)

Option 1

Orange Tolex
Black Grill

Option 2

Red Snakeskin Tolex (If I can find some)
Silver Grill

Option 3

White Tolex
Black Grill

I did take an Ampeg combo guts out and put it in an Ampeg head cabinet some years ago, but that was it.

Ive done it twice, not too hard if you have any wood working experience.

I did take an Ampeg combo guts out and put it in an Ampeg head cabinet some years ago, but that was it.

I have some left over wardrobe shelves that are a bit bigger than my combo so decided since I get my new cab tomorrow I'm gonna do a bit of a project

And no, I am not making a matching amp for your halford XD

Meh, Messing with people is funny, especially when you don't realise you're doing it (exactly like I was doing by the looks of it XD)

I changed it now anyway though so it's sorted now

Yeah, I'm definitely going with that idea now, after seeing this on the marshall forum I think that it looks so awesome, problem is I was planning to do this on my old amp because I knew there was atleast one jack on the back of the amp, got home with my new cab the other day, tested it, plugged it in and though, okay there's two jacks, send and return? I'm gonna plug it into send.

Next, no noise, I thought Wtf? checked the back of the amp, it was a fucking effects loop XD ahh well, after I get the DSL 100 I'm saving up for I'm going to start looking for spare and repair combo amps and hope it's just the speaker that's gone bust on them, if not my dads an electrician so he'll sort the other crap with the circuitry lol
