I got an SLS3. I like it, but I want to change the pick-ups. I got two DiMarzios that I bought for a different guitar... which had a Floyd Rose trem. Therefore are these pick-ups F-Spaced. Will that be a problem for the sound?

What he said. Cork sniffers will tell you they hear a difference but the average person won't ever know.GTWGITS! - RacerX

I have faced another problem... i think. There are three exits from the guitar. Two holes that has a silver wire and a black one. The black goes to ground and the silver to the pick-up switch. But there's another one with just one black wire. It goes to the tonepot. What is this? Anyone?'08 Jackson Custom Shop Soloist

Most probably. Both '59's are now removed. I thought that since the humbuckers weren't connected to it, I just leave it the hell alone.
I've gotten the bridge pick-up in and I'm about to do the neck. I'll post pics and maybe a vid (if I get my cam working) when I'm done.'08 Jackson Custom Shop Soloist

That is probably the ground wire connecting the shielding paint in the cavities to the common ground.750xl, 88LE, AT1, Roswell Pro, SG-X, 4 others...
Stilletto Duece 1/2 Stack, MkIII Mini-Stack, J-Station, 12 spaces of misc rack stuff, Sonar 4, Event 20/20, misc outboard stuff...

I love it. The problem I had with the '59 was that they sounded too alike. I got a slightly rounder tone from the neck pick-up.
Now it's really singing in the neck position and the bridge pickup has more definition.'08 Jackson Custom Shop Soloist

It is a bit bassy, but the thing that is so great is that I can set a rhythm tone that is quite sharp and edgy. Then when I switch to the neck PU it really sings and gives it a softer touch. It differs alot from the set-up in my other two humbucker jackson. There I have a Humbucker from Hell in the neck which is a lower output and is much brighter. :P
Do you use DiMarzios, Toejam?'08 Jackson Custom Shop Soloist
