The JT-6 would be a brilliant trem if was made out of steel and not whatever zinc/brass mix that was used. My biggest beef with it is the locking bolts strip the threads out of the blocks SUPER easy. Like if you torque them down enough to clamp the string without slippage you've probably stripped out the block.
Tuning stability wise I never had problems with the one in my model 5, except for slipping strings at the bridge.
To sum it up, awesome design - terrible execution.
