Ok, I've had my PS4 for a couple of months now, and I really like it aside from the trem. It wouldn't be all that bad except the bar is a direct screw in, which I hate. It just feels cheap and flimsy, maybe because I'm use to my other floyded guitars which all have collars. I was wondering what the options were on this thing. I was told that an OFR will not drop in, I don't know if that's true or not, even if it is true, it's not a big deal as long as there is a decent trem available that will. Any suggestions?

Trem options for my PS4

Correct, an OFR will not drop in, but you can replace the crappy trem arm and socket on the JT-500 with a Schaller arm and socket.
They are less than $16 from StewMac
Or you can simply swap out the trem for a JT-590 (Schaller) or an actual Schaller trem for about $162
The JT-500 is the exact same dimensions as a Schaller, so it's a direct swap.-Rick
