  • What size hex wrench for DK2S truss rod?

Is it 1/4" or 9/32"? Thanks

I actually have the same question about my KE3 truss rod.

I'm pretty sure these are both going to take a 7mm box wrench. 9/32" is slightly more than 7mm, but I think it'll work without rounding it off.

I've realized 1/4" is too small, and I don't have a 9/16" that will fit in the cavity. I'll have to check the 7mm tomorrow. I was just going off the sizes listed in the stewmac set. Thanks.

          1/4" for USA's, and 7mm for imports.

That makes sense....us USA weirdos use an SAE size and everyone else in the world uses a metric size....

Found out it's actually an 8mm. Thanks for the guidance to the metrics.

Mine turned out to be a 7mm, just as jacksonaxes suggested.
I used a 7mm socket from my automotive set. That worked in a pinch, but I'd really like to get the correct tool for the job.
