Ok I bought the 91 limited AT, the fretboard came to me super dry. So I usually just take some fret ease and put it on the board. From what I tend to read the "fret ease" is made of the same stuff you oil your board with. The fretboard got real dark it looks like ebony now with real heavy grain. Is the board going to be ok or do I need to do something to dry it out a little. I want the original rosewood color to show it looks better and it's original. Any Thoughts? I will post pics soon

Rosewood fret board to dark

It's fine. The original rosewood color was a lot lighter because it was too dry. It needed a drink to bring out what it's supposed to look like. My Fender Strat was the same way when I got it, real pale, but now it's very dark and looks much better since it's been oiled.I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

First time i've ever heard anyone complaining about their rosewood board being 'too dark' As tgreensl1 said, darker rosewood = better rosewood.
Just give it some oil and shred away! It's all about the blues-rock chatter.
