5 way switch suggestions?

I ordered some new parts like pots, jacks and switches from Stew Mac to repair a few of my Jackson's. I managed to screw up and order a 5 way for my Fusion Deluxe as opposed to a proper 3 way.

Everything that I have read tells me that I can NOT coil split those two humbuckers unless I order the super 5 way no?

Any other mods that will give me a single coil sound that I can use the 5 way with? Its not the end of the world to order another 3 way but i was looking for some variation in this jackson.

For what it's worth the neck is a stock Jackson humbucker while the bridge is a Dimarzio Super 3.

Well, I don't know, and I wouldn't mind finding out... But in any case it seems like a lot of music stores would carry a Tele 3-way?

I have the Mega E 5 way in my 750XL and it works awesome. I say use it.

Oh ya! Its not like I can't run down to my Mom and Pop store and grab one but I was looking for some tonal variations that might be pulled off with the present 5 way switch.

So you bought a normal 5 way and want it to work like a mega 5 way?

I don't deal with normal 5 ways so I'll tip my hat to the guys on the seymour duncan forums. Ask them what can be done.

Just remember that ur dimarzio has different color lead layouts than a duncan if u use the ^^ diagram. You probably already know, but just incase you didnt
