Help needed

Hey guys I need some help with shimming a neck. I want to shim a neck on one of my guitars with a top mounted floyd so I can pull up on the bar but I've never done this before, can you guys please give me some advice on how to do it and what to use?

Give me a bit more info, if you'd be so kind; is it that the floyd is sitting on the face of the body, and you want to raise the floyd up for pullbacks?

If so, it's pretty simple; cut a strip off of a business card and put it in the bottom of the pocket. That should be enough to give you the 1-2 degree angle that you need. If you need a bit more of an angle, cut a larger strip and fold it over itself.
