I picked it up dirt cheap on CL and it's actually in very good physical condition. But the most important thing is how it sounds...and it doesn't. The neck pickup works, the middle doesn't, and the bridge pickup has very low volume. I've ordered new pots for new passive pickups. I'll be scouring CL for deals but not in any hurry to spend more money. In the meantime I'd like to get the current Jackson pickups working. I'm going to get a new input jback because there's some crackling coming from there. I'm thinking of just starting from scratch....removing the pickups and resoldering. Anyone have a wiring diagram for this guitar? HSS active Jackson pickups, one volume and two tone knobs.

If everything is still original, a 475 has the JE-1200 active midboost preamp system in it. The third pot is actually your midboost level control, not a second tone pot. The pickups themselves are passive. Here are the diagrams:

And new pots for passive pickups won't be original. The tone control was 250 K ohm on those, but the volume and boost were 50 K ohms. Normally, the volume was hard wired right to the circuit, so they can be difficult to undo..."Got a crazy feeling I don't understand,
Gotta get away from here.
Feelin' like I shoulda kept my feet on the ground
Waitin' for the sun to appear..."
