Loosing Sound

Hey guys, my friend has a strat, which is loosing sound on a high e string bend, only between the 5th and 9th fret, and 12th to 17th fret.....

Frustrating, what do you think????

If the sound is loose, maybe tighten something.

I've checked the bolt on neck, tuners and tail piece, and they are tight, this is an older guitar, with no problems, and then this issue was something that just started.

Figured it out. The string is "fretting out", needs to set up again.

Neck adjustment needed, or adjust the strings up until it doesn't do it anymore.
