Hi,
I have a Jackson JDR-94 and today while fixing the intonation, the thread on the floyd rose got stripped. I'm now looking for the easiest (and cheapest) way to fix this. Replacing the floyd rose base plate seems to be the easiest solution. As far as I know, this floyd rose is a JT-500 and in some topics I discovered that the following base plates would work:
Does anyone know a place that sells any of these? Or does anyone have a spare one?
I need it shipped to Belgium (I'll be in NYC next week though, finally visiting the USA!).
Repairing the threads with heli-coils or replacing the whole trem are other options but just the base plate seems easiest...
Hopefully I can get this fixed soon. I love this guitar!
The worst part is that I was fixing the intonation because I have my first rehearsal with a new band this week. But I also have a RR3 so I'll be fine.
Thanks!
