San Dimas Style 2 pickup question

Hey Hey,
have a killer Candy Red San Dimas Style 2 with a white pickguard installed... awesome guitar........question.....

Neck pickup sounds awesome (59), Bridge pickup sounds awesom (JB).. when i go to the middle postion on my 3 way toggle....the sound gets kinda brittle and the output seems to dip...

Anyone know if the middle postion splits the buckers or anything like that??? My other 2 hum guitars dont have any noticeable output drop when i got to middle position...............wHat Up?????

hmm.. I don't believe they split. Might be a phase issue. Check the wiring.

I fixed this issue on one of mine with some contact cleaner in the toggle.
