Sure, it's wood. The radius is going to vary. Plus when you level and crown the frets you'll likely flatten the radius out even more on the upper frets, or so I've heard (never measured before/after) because guys say that you tend to put a little compound radius into a neck if you level with a long beam/fanned stroke anyway.
It looks like in your example you came up with a 17 3/4" radius for the 12-16 neck. I'm certain that the 18.5" is recommended by Warmoth as correct for their 10-16" radius, so that seems right. But yeah, for some reason I just didn't care for the feel on my Soloist, but the shimmed bridge setup I use on all my Warmoths is about a 19" or so, and I do like that.
