do you have a means to check with another FR you may have? a spare or one in another guitar you can take out?
all my non-recessed top-mounts are 42mm. that includes Strat, ESP, original Kramer. except for my EBMM, which is 40mm. all my other recessed are 37mm. the only 32mm I have are a Charvel and a Jackson, which are both recessed.
you should defintely be safe with 37mm, unless you just want to be sure to get every square mm of real estate filled with that brass. if you're not certain, check with one or all of the brass sustain block suppliers out there and ask. and if you're going with a big block (1/2" thick), be certain you have plenty of space in the cavity if you want to pull up - trust me on that.
