really i love all of them from the first 4-5 albums, but playing wise i love playing the wake up dead solos. of course in my darkest hour and the outro solos in hangar 18 and holy wars stick out. also, if you cant play the rhythm to holy wars, learn it. that song is unbelievably fun to play

Dave had a large impact on: Megadeth, Metallica, Anthrax, Exodus, Slayer

We're talking the big 4 of thrash AND arguably the biggest non-big 4 bay area thrash band. Megadeth & Metallica don't need explaining, but he hung out with Anthrax in New York during his stint in Metallica and recommended that they boot their singer and get a replacement. They took said advice. Kerry King played with Megadeth and wore Slayer shirts during the shows. Besides that, Dave showed Kerry different weird chords & progressions that Kerry didn't know about, which he went on to use in Slayer. Then, again obvious, Kirk left Exodus to rip off his solos in Metallica. Had Dave not had such ripping ass solos on No Life 'Til Leather, Kirk may not have left Exodus, and Creeping Death would be an Exodus song O_O. I feel like Chuck singing that song would still be fucking awesome

Not only the big 4, look at some of the new bands like Lamb of God and Trivium. They were heavily influenced by Dave Mustaine. Also, Creeping Death would be kick ass with Chuck!

Well, influenced yes, but in a different way. The LoG dudes didn't meet Mustaine until they already had a few albums out. The stuff I mentioned was like history-altering influence haha. It does suck that we'll never know how Chuck would have sung Creeping Death :/

hey, dont laugh, thats so that to make it uber versatile
I'll be plugging the guitar into a Marshall JVM-410H, or Mesa Road King or Mesa Mark IIC+, or Marshall 50th anniversary (if its like a head capturing marshall's history or something, not those 1 watts), what ever I'd score at that time
Now, please check out that e-bay post, what should be the price of that '98 King V ????
                            $1500 may be

Eh, Dave Gilmour uses both in his setup. I tried it in my Model 4 but didn't notice a big difference. Decided I was happier with the midboost and active tone control (so it was closer to stock but upgraded).
