The ones that I've used are generally the .10mm thickness.

Granted, that's gonna be super thin, and you may want the .020.

Heres an idea. Get some veneer and if you know anyone local with a laser engraver, have them lightly burn the Jackson logo into the veneer. At the right setting it will only lightly color(darken) the logo into the veneer then dye it and apply it and clear.
To give you an idea of what I mean, herez a pic of adhesive veneer that I laser engraved my daughters face on.

Hi I'm new to the forum and love the guitars and people on here from what I see. I saw this thread and I know what your going through. I did this Frechie graphic with vinyl decals and a white Mighty Mite body. I used 2K urethane and it took some patience and a lot of wet sanding. Also its important to know the vinyl sits much higher than if the headstock was painted.
