#1. Remember that truss rod adjustments take a bit to show up. Make an adjustment, let it sit for an hour, and then retune and check it again.

#2 Truss rods do not adjust action; bridge height adjusts action.

#3 Some buzz is unavoidable with a low action. If it's not audible through the amp, and not killing sustain, then you're fine.

I only get a setup about once a year or anytime I switch string gauges.

I generally don't do any setups at all. Its included in the cost of swapping pickups or a repair.

Do it yourself!!! the tech sets it up to his feel. You'll ALWAYS tweak it after paying some dickhole anyhoo.

There's enough info on the net to learn to do it on your own. Floyds are a pain for intonation, but oh well, at least it will be right.
