  • model series nut question

I have a model series neck that is missing the nut. I had heard that one from a les paul would fit right. Will this one work?

Should work fine. You would only need to sand down the underside to get the correct action.

You will need to angle the nut slots a little.

and measure the current nut to make your life easier. If you get the wrong width/depth it will make the replacement a lot more smooth.

Unfortunately, the current nut is missing. As long as the basic dimensions are correct, Im ok with having to tweak it a bit.

Just to add in case you didn't get one yet, I put a Black TUSQ XL PT-6010-00 on my Model 6 and all I had to do was sand the bottom and sides to fit. Slots are more angled on that one and no adjusting of the slots was needed.
