I've recently switched to mineral oil after using teak oil for the last 15 years or so.
I bought the "Skydd" mineral oil from Ikea after reading recommendations on it.
I'm not sure which is better, but it seems like a lot of the different specific oils for guitar use are basically mineral oil with something added (like lemon scent).

Yeah, there doesn't seem to be a universal truth when it comes to oiling fretboards.
Everywhere you look, people have different opinions, and different recommendations.
In one book, boiled linseed oil is recommended, and in another it is strongly advised not to use it, etc...
I'm obviously no expert, and very open to advice on what would be absolutely best for fretboards. However, it's hard to know who to "trust", when everyone tells you different.

WD40. Is another controversial fretboard treatment. I used to use it on my strings back in the 90s and still own the 3 guitars I used it on. Not one issue with the necks. I can't see where it's a bad thing personally. But there is no definitive rule on it. Only opinions."clean sounds are for pussies" - Axewielder

Regular baby oil and mineral oil are fine, as are any petroleum-based products. Motor oil is also fine, according to Jimmy D'Aquisto, the acoustic guitar maker; he used to use 30 or 40 weight oil.I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

I've been using 100% mineral oil. I have no idea what's best and searching the internet seems to just confuse me further. Lemon oil is mostly mineral oil anyway and since mineral oil has been working great for me, I'd say they're both fine.
Also on the topic of WD40, it was originally designed to repel water, from electronics I believe. WD actually stands for water displacement, but now people seem to use it for everything else including conditioning their fretboards
