What would you do in this situation?

I have a Jackson Performer-2 im gonna put my EMG81 in the bridge and EMG SA in the neck meaning the middle will be dead (i dont wanna spend anymore money, the EMG's are coming from my Model 6).

Should I try get a 3 way toggle switch put in or can the 5 way switch be wired for just the neck s/c and bridge?

yeah you could bridge some contacts, or just get a three way blade switch, instead of a 5 way?

Ah interesting i shall look further into a 3 blade switch had no idea they existed .

3 way blades are pretty common (I think some manufacturers call them a tele switch as opposed to a strat switch). I put them in a couple HSS soloists that I don't use the middle pickup.

I'd do a 3 way also.. It doesn't mod the guitar physically so you could just change it back easily..

A Fender Tele 3 way switch fit perfectly in my Model 5's 5 way slot when I threw in Blackouts. Screws lined up perfectly.

Same here.. I would caution though, the cheap (but great quality) ones I got off ebay didn't come with screws and didn't match the 5-way's screws I was replacing. Had to drill and tap the holes. So make sure before you buy..
