HELP!!! Wiring config

Okay, I'm putting back the EMG HZ in a 1 HB p'up guitar with 1 volume and no tone pot. Have pulled up conflicting wiring schematics. EMG says no cap needed (there was none when I took it out to put in a EVH) where as others have shown it. Never used a cap on a single hum, no tone config. What's up?

The diagram looks to be redrawn or something. I would use a different one.

I figured it out. What was throwing me off was the missing bit between the lug where the input jack ground attached and the pot bottom. Diagram shows that it is just soldered together rather than joined by a bit of wire. So I did the same and works great!
