I seem to remember that the one I got was a waterslide (I didn't install it myself - I'm crap at painting and clearing) but I think those are in fact vinyl.

Vinyl is pretty thick if your going to try and bury it in clear and it doesn't like certain clear products I believe.

This is the truth I had a custom Jackson logo made for one of my stars and it took a TON of clear like 15 coats to totally bury it. Waterslides take like 2 coats max lol. Ill let you know today RD on the slides I totally forgot.
