Charvel 750

I am posting here as well as I am hoping for some speedy advice.

OK guess who called me today, The guy in Des Moines with the 750. Man I need some advice from the gurus around here. So the reason he was hesitant to sell was it appears that the fretboard is seperating from the neck up towards the headstock. He took it to a local luthier today and was quoted 75.00 to fix it. States very minimal wear and it has hardly been played. I really need some advice on this repair pronto, if this sounds like an easy repair I may still go get it. He says it still plays great?

I just talked to the guys at the Lutherie shop in Des Moines and they said it was about a 2 inch seperation and they would clean out, insert glue and reclamp and would be as good as new?Also stated a very common repair? I did verify this is an actual lutherie shop www.thelutherieshop.com

Not bad an easy fix IMO I would go get the guitar.I think you would still see the repair after its fixed but I would just play it and not worry about it.

I am on the way back with it now. Looks like it has hardly been played at all
