I just thought I would see if anyone knows how to remove the inner case lining from these Jackson cases and the Charvel\Jackson chainsaw cases?
I have a few that need hinges reapired, latches etc.
I was thinking it i could remove the lining I could re rivet these.
I also have a very unique tool that is a leftover from the automotive repair days. (when I lived in Cali I was a smog technician before I went and got my IT degree) That tool is a plastic welder, yes a plastic welder. basicaly it is a heat gun with an area that you feed different types of plastics through to melt and bond the plastics together. This was really purchased for when a little dash clip or something would get broken. I think this tool may work here and I am going to be attempting this over the next couple of weeks. Does anyone know what the material is that these are made of?
I'll let everyone know if it works
