REALLY sharp fret edges

Ok, I've searched, googled, youtubed..and really haven't figured it out. The fret edges on DK2 are sharp. I originally guessed it was a humidity issue, but it's not.

Is this something I can do? I don't want to mess up the binding. Small precision file? Larger file to cover more area?

I bought a fret end file from stewmac a while back for this reason. I just cut my finger open on a new DKXT. These new jackson seem to all have teeth.
