Help needed... Amp modification

Hey guys!

I bought a Peavey Triple XXX and as you may be aware the faceplate of the amp is fugly, trucker girls *urgh*

I want to mod it to look like this


I already got the penetarated sheet plate and I'll get cut the logo out myself.

My problem is the following, as I removed the faceplate I saw that behind it there is a wooden plate :thumbsdown:
So, how do I remove this safely?.. It is glued on as far as I can see.. Is there an easy way to remove glued wood?

Can you duplicate the wooden section rather than removing it?

That material is called expanded metal.
I use it on my own designs sometimes.
Be careful, it is multi point razor wire!

On the bright side if you crash with the amp on a desert island at least you will have something to grate cheese with.

No, I was wrong.
Actually that is very heavy screening for masonry reinforcement.
Still would look for ways to save the old setup in case someone wants to change it back.

I want to try to cut it out in a whole = making the glue unstickable somehow O.o

It means confusion.. nothing more.. Anyway, I'll just take out the amp and cut it out...

The trucker girls look just to rednecky for me so that's why I'm changing it up

Just remove the tubes and put your fist through the wood backing.
