Thanks man, but I am not sure if that would achieve the same look as a the USA spec switch tip, worth a try if all else fails. Those USA spec tips are just the best!!!!

Paint the black one gold?

Not sure that would work to well, I could try but I think the paint would wear off and make it look worse in the end. I think they are powder coated to start with and that is why the finish is so durable. I have a black one that has some of the corners wore down to steel but it looks natural. Thanks for input, i do appreciate each and every bit of advice.

I would rather go chrome to gold then strip the black then go to gold if i was to try that. What are your plans with the chrome one you have???
