I was wondering what brand of tubes come new with the Blackstar amps?
I have a studio 20H head and seems it has Ruby EL34's in it but not sure if they actually came with Rubys
I got it used but it was less than a month old I do know that but the guy is a tube changer like I am.Do have one power tube that isn't lighting up and caught a bit of flash of the bottom of the tube but otherwise dark.
Pulled the chassis and no burned areas in the socket or cracks in the socket or on the board.
I was playing it yesterday and it popped and caused the HT side fuse to blow so fixed that, the amp never lost power just no sound.
Sure miss not having Cyg around to call with issues like this.
Guess go out and buy some new power tubes and try that.
