alternative to tremol-no

Alternative to a trem stopper? Possibly. Alternative to a Tremol-No? Nope.

Tremol-No advantages: locked mode and doesn't require any drilling. Also, how much room is there for springs with a barrel bolt? Can you still use 3 or 4 springs?

I'd prefer to buy a used Tremol-No for $25 to $30. Or if gonna drill, an actual purpose designed tremolo stopper. I believe there are some on Ebay for $10 to $12.
