Err straightening SS fretwire?

Finally ordered some SS fret wire from jescar and it came in a big coil. Kinda gave it a whirl to straiten it out and it just goes back. And it keeps twisting. not like traditional fret wire....

Anyone?

I also have some small pieces that are SS I would like to straighten out (they are over radius'd)

Thinking about making some fret plyers and bending them.

Are you using a proper fret bender? Any time I've run SS wire through a fret bender to adjust the radius (even on Jescar SS wire), I had no issues.

If you press them in (highly recommended), run some CA in the slot, then press the fret in, and hold them pressed in for a bit, which also helps.

Get a fret bender it will make life easier.
