  • What is the best lotion for an oil neck?

    Hi everybody!

I just bought my first USA Jackson, an 1987 Jackson dinky, that has a non lacquer neck.
What lotion should I use to save the back of the neck? I found on the internet different suggestions.
Would be good for example Lemon oil by Dunlop that is usable for the fingerboard?

    Thank you for the help!

Lemon oil is good for cleaning, using 0000 steel wool VERY CAREFULLY following the grain.
Use VERY sparingly. A little goes a long way, and it's hard to get rid of any excess. After
That, I'd use Birchwood Casey Tru Oil. Always works well for me. There's a good tutorial
on the Ernie Ball Music Man forum that will tell you exactly what to do...
