Help with a 3 way blade switch please

I'm wiring up an old model 5 that I am wiring J50N and J50BC. I'm going off the wiring diagram at seymour duncan (I know to look up the wire color conversion to get it right), but the 3 way switch they show is nothing like what I have. Mine is just 8 lugs/contacts straight across the ottom, so I have no idea what to do. I tried looking up a conversion but couldn't find anything. I think that this is a diagram for a 3 way toggle/les paul style, but the model 5 is routed for a blade. Can anyone help?

thats a 3 or 5 way blade import switch..look for a diagram for that type of switch

I could be wrong but I think lug 4&5 are the common

easiest way to confirm that is with a multi-meter.. Ill see if I can find a diagram to help you

Thanks. I think I can get it going with this info.

Also, just to not look totally stupid, it is actually a 5 way that I grabbed for the picture, but I have a few 3's hanging out as well.
