Buffing Ebony

So, I was working on a guitar the other night and using a micromesh I cleaned the frets and a fairly gunky fretboard. She looks great now, but if I wanted to buff the ebony back to a shine (currently it's a very uniform flat ebony, which I kind of like) how would I do so?

Try carnauba wax and some elbow grease

I'd just use a little lemon oil. The wax might build up a little bit, I'm not sure I'd like to use it on a fingerboard (but it probably won't hurt).

I'd do a few applications of lemon oil.

After you clean the fretboard with Naphtha, moisturize it with boiled linseed oil and a buffer. Works fantastically, as does Behlen's Fingerboard Oil (which I suspect is BLO).
