Something like a JE1200? Also best cheap floyd copy?

I can only find one je1200 supplier on ebay (im in aus) so i wanna see what else I can get locally.

Does EMG make anything similar? Its for my Model 6 with stock J200's and a J90c.


Also whats the next best thing after an Original Floyd? I wanna see my options in case it gets too pricey for me

For cheaper floyd copies, I like the Jackson JT580LP or Takeuchi TRS101. I have a DK2 with the JT580LP, and I find it stays in tune just fine. I had a Takeushi in a parts mutt, and only replaced it because it doesn't use the same type of tremolo arm as the DK2 (it uses a screw in tyope like a vintage Fender trem). Both have a different shape baseplate to an original floyd. I don't know if that will be an issue on youyr guitar.

I plan on modifying the Takeuchi to take a floyd standard arm and putting it back in the mut. Not particularly happy with the JT580 (non-LP) version I put in.

Try find MM04 boost circuit, it is pretty similar.

Also you could try Alexi Laiho pickup set it comes with booster, maybe that can be installed with other pickups...
