I just picked up a Model 6 (with Kahler) that someone had modded from 3 on/off switches, to 1 kill switch and a 5-way blade.
Yes, there is a slight ground issue, which I haven't even looked at yet. And, really, when I say slight, it is very minor. I didn't even notice it at first.
But, my immediate concern is the 5-way.
When they cut out the straight line, it seems like they didn't cut it wide enough. It is a tight fit, and therefore is harder to flip (accurately) then I would want it to be in a 'live' situation.
So, the question becomes -
How do I route it wider and not damage the finish. Whoever did it originally, I must give 'em props for how professional it looks, I'd like to keep it that way.
