EMG vs

Completely new guy to EMG. I had a EMG 85 in my parts bin, got it in a guitar trade, and decided to install it in my LTD Alexi 200.

So I downloaded this wiring diagram:


Output jack is a stereo... The guitar I'm putting it in has a mono.

So, any way to wire an EMG to a mono jack or will I have to go get a stereo? Let me know. Thanks in advance.

You'll have to go with a stereo jack. I think if you stick with mono, it will run your battery down real quick.

Spot on. You can do it with mono jack but you will be drawing current 24/7.
