Wiring help!! How to hardwire emg ??? With these components??

What's this tab on the top part of the alpha pot? What goes there

red on battery plug to red on pick up. shield to ground. center wire to 1 of the volume pot outer legs. center pot leg to jack tip connection. other outer leg to ground. black on battery plug to ring connection on jack. sleeve connection on jack to ground. I think that extra tab on the pot may be a ground solder point maybe.

Yeah, test the continuity between the tab and the body/back of the potentiometer. It's much easier to solder onto a tab than onto the back.

That tab looks like it would get in the way when mounting the pot in the guitar though.

That extra tab is for locking the pot in position inside the cavity. Designed for slippage prevention. Not a good idea on guitars. Snap it off with some pliers.

Make sure the pot is 25K or 50K ohms or you will have problems.
