Connecting 1 headphone to 2 amps - how?

I need help. I have a Boss Katana Head and a Roland JC-40 Jazz Chorus amp. What I want to do is to switch between both amps by using an A/B box. So far so good...

In addition to this I want to use both headphone jacks together by using only one headphone. That is I don't want to switch between 2 seperate headphones which would be annoying, wouldn't it?

Can someone tell me how this works? Do I need any device in between the headphone and the 2 phone jacks?

That Behringer MX400 has only mono jacks. But a headphone has a stereo plug. So this won't work.

I've heard about people using the Mackie mixer as well, think it runs $100 though.

You should be able to plug the emulated headphone outs into the mixer and then your headphones into the mixer out.

I used a headphone jack into the input of the Splitmix and it requires an amplifier at each output if you want to use it as a headphone splitter.

So this one is out of question.

I would say use the left (mono) input on 2/3 and left (mono) input on 4/5. You could also probably use the 1/4" on channel 1, then use the L (mono) on 2/3 or 4/5, and would also probably work if you used L and R on 2/3 or 4/5. The headphones part i think you can figure out. Lol

It may look confusing at first but just think of it as a 3 channel mixer. Channel 1 is mono, the other 2 are stereo. The eq section is only for channel 1. The 2-track section is for adding in another source like a cd/mp3 player, or sending a parallel out.
