Hey, so I have several guitars that are equiped with EMG 81's in both the bridge and neck. I don't really care for the 81 in the neck clean and I have a cheap GFS Dream 180 installed in the neck of a couple of my guitars and I really do like it for cleans (no idea what pickup this pickup was copied from, but I like it)
I was curious if there is any EMG active pickup that sings at all like a passive (in this case dream 180) ? I was thinking about checking out the Jame Hetfield set, but I really just want the neck pickup. Anyway if anyone has any emg specific suggestions (I'm lazy I don't want to solder
