Got a Strat and I want to yank the middle and neck. What's a good noiseless pick up for the neck? May not even replace the middle - never use it.

Depends on the output and tone you want. I like the Dimarzio virtual vintage heavy blues and Duncan cool rails, but they're pretty different. -
I've been using Duncan Cool Rails in middle and neck with a single coil-sized JB in the bridge.

They came standard in one of my guitars.
I am not big on single coils, but I do like that one. Probably because it is technically a humbucker. Which is also why I said what the other pickup is. It may just over power a stock Fender pickup.Comment
