hi bros
i know it´s not a charvel/jackson, but i thought this would fit here perfect.
i had an old cheap stratcopy which i painted red 8 years ago and now i thought "it´s about time" for something new.
so i decided to make my own VH1 strat.
1st of all a picture of the old guitar as it was before i start this all.
that´s the one how my should look like:

o.k. first i sanded it down:
and the back
after that i painted it black:
then i put on some stipes, i tried to make it as original as possible.
o.k. and now put on the white paint:
after 8 hours of drying it pulled of the sripes and then it looked like this:
and the back:
now it was time for the clearcoat, and during drying up, it bought a new pickguard and cleaned up the hardware.
oh, i need a maple fretboard! o.k. so i bought a used maple/maple neck and put on the tuners. the holes were drilled already, but they doesn´t fit on my guitar. so i filled it up with wood and sanded them down.
the guitar is not finished already. i´ll post pictures when she is ready to go!
i hope you enjoy the pix.
