Will Schaller locking tuners retrofit Fender?

My Double Fat Strat has standard Fender/Schaller tuners. Will the locking Schallers retrofit the standard without any drilling?

I actually just asked on the Fender board and was told the locking versions indeed retrofit, but the regular Schallers don't. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

If they are the type with the inserts they will fit. If they are the vintage type you will have to drill.
